Chanse is hospitalized.

The test show that he has Romatic Fever. However, the specialist says NO! He has been admitted into Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. They will be doing more tests. They think he may have arthritis. The GOOD news..if it's the kind they think it is, it's curable. Tests came back positive for Lupus and Romatic Fever. The Arthritis Tests came back Negative. How does that even make sense? How frustrating!!!

BEST NEWS EVER!!! Chanse has ROMATIC FEVER.

Test results came back positive for Romatic Fever. This is not a good thing to have but it sure beats the alternative. The illness has now infected both sides of his body. He is unable to use his hands, so mommy gets to play taxi. Jody is taking him to a Disease Specialist as we speak.

UPDATE: The Great Pretender.

We spent the weekend with Pops. I realize he's not as well as he leads us to believe. I call him everyday and he tells me he's feeling good. After spending a couple days with him I realize this is going to be a long, hard road to recovery. I also realized he's not out of the woods. He was having some heart pain and sweats while I was their. He also gained 8 lbs. That worried us until we started adding up all the food he ate. For Dinner he ate a great big steak, potato Salad and Strawberry Shortcake. Oh and lets not forget the Rootbeer Float. The next day he had his coffee, 2 BIG Strawberry Shortcakes, BIG bowl of cereal, 2 Rootbeer Floats, A HUGE B-Bque Hotdog (actually the hotdog bun was so big we put two dogs on each one) anyways, we figured that had to add up to 8 lbs. After his nap he has lost 5 of the 8 lbs so we quit worrying about that. He ended up going into the Doctors yesterday, he's still having heart pain and short of breath. The doctor said he don't have water building up around his heart. They are taking more tests. The Heart Doctor Jody works for said if we realized how close to death dad was we would be more pleased with his condition. They feel like he's doing fine. His incisions looks great, the drain holes are nasty, they leak.

Our thoughts are with Chanse, my nephew.

They say it comes in three's. Jody's son, Chanse has come down with some sort of illness. The Doctors have not been able to pin point it yet. He has had numerous test done. We are anxiously waiting for the tests to come back, it's suppose to be today. It started out with sore ankles and some swelling. The illness has spread very quickly and aggressively through out his body. The swelling is horrible, it has effected a lot of joints and especially joints that have had previous injury. His hand is so swollen he can not bend his fingers, Jody is very concerned his hand will maintain circulation. He is unable to hold up his arms or walk on his foot. His blood count in dropping every day and his excedrate is multiplying his sugar is down to 67 and is peeing out whole white blood cells. He is in horrible pain, and is unable to get much rest at night. He has had two Lupus tests done. One came back positive and the other negative. We are waiting for a Romatic Fever test to come back, today hopefully. He has had tests done on his heart, no damage!!! If the tests come back positive for Romatic Fever we will be celebrating. I know Romatic Fever is not good to have but the alternative is so much worse. They are pretreating him with Heavy Duty Antibiotic and 2,500 mg of Asprin. Say a prayer for Chanse! I will keep the family posted.

Dads 2nd Therapy Appointment

Dad had his second Therapy Appointment yesterday. He's zapped!!!
They wanted him to walk on the Treadmill for 7 minutes. The therapist's assistant went on break forgetting Dad was still walking. Seventeen minutes later he was still walking. He is getting his hearing back in his left ear. He's healing well, all is good.

Grandpa and Bry are TWINS...well maybe not twins but they have something in common.

Actually she's inspires all that meet her. This little girl has had two open heart surgery and she is still smiling. She's a tough little cookie. She wants to be a wrestler, and one thing for sure, she'd win.
