This is our fist trip to Powell, the first time is magical. The height of the Red Cliffs are breath taking.

This is our favorite place to camp. It makes a perfect 8' diving board right out our motorhome door.

Mike and Jed shoot lizards off the cliff walls. Jed aims and mike blows water through the tube.

The girls are standing on top of a cliff just under the water. Do you see Jed in this photo? Look closer he is their.

These trees are 30' tall and have been under water for 50 years.

This is the magical I am talking about. This cliff is at least 200 feet tall. That's our boat in that little cave at the bottom.

This is the Garden of Eden- Sometimes we eat lunch or take naps in this cave. It's a nice break from the heat. Their is a water current in the cave, you can shut off the engine and relax the water usually just pulls you around in a large circle without hitting in the sides of the cave.

We do this every time we go to powell. The kids love to feed the carp lollypops.

Anyone that spends time at powell will agree that the first time is breath taking. It's hard to believe some things are this beautiful. My favorite part of this powell trip was site seeing. I loved sitting on the nose of the boat, so I didn't miss a thing. The beauty of the red cliffs and the size was absolutely magical to me. Powell is so big, it was nice taking Brandy she is familiar with powell and showed us the ropes.

This is a little day trip with the Chris & Bridgett Family. This is the day Chris and I messed up our shoulder.

This was meant to be a day trip. Any boater knows you dont stay out on Utah Lake when the wind picks up.

Utah Lake with the Tibbetts. We had so much fun we pushed it, knowing we were out of gas. We paddled half way back and pulled the rest of the way.

Dave just had back surgery a few weeks prior to this day trip. We was nervous to take him for a boat ride let alone the tube. We couldn't keep him off the tube and he didn't want mike to take it easy with him. This is the first time we have ran out of gas out on a lake. We knew we was pushing it. I used the ore up front to steer, Mike and Jed hung off the back and paddled with flippers, like Dash did on the Incredibles. We ended up getting pulled the last little bit. It was good exercise.
